Services provided
• Prepares all types of authentic documents such as: Power of Attorney, Birth certificates, death certificates
• Registers specifically when required birth certificates for children born in the USA of Haitian parents (0 -2yrs old).
• Performs civil marriage between two Haitians.
• Registers, legalizes or authenticates all documents to be used in Haiti such as: documents presented by funeral homes for bodies to be buried in Haiti or adoption documents.
• Provides all possible assistance (moral) to Haitian nationals about to be deported by Homeland Security and refers them to appropriate lawyers for legal assistance.
• Provides all information concerning new laws enacted in Haiti.
• Request documents from the National Archives of Haiti when requested.
• Delivers all summonses received from the Haitian Judicial authorities to their addressee by certified mail.
It is to be noted that to obtain a mandate the personal presence of the claimant is requested along with his identification such as a valid passport or certificate of naturalization.
If the claimant is the holder of a foreign passport he or she must make his request with a letter of intention (conceived in French or English, preferably in French). The letter must be signed, notarized and certified by the County clerk of the Secretary of State where the document has been notarized.
Our Serivice can legalize only the original documents. Such original documents must have been approved by the legal Department of the Ministry in question and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before submission to the Consulate office.
