Cultural and Community Section
The cultural and community services have for mission to:
- Arrange cultural exchanges between the citizens of Haiti, Haitian immigrants, and citizens of other countries, including those who are the friends of Haiti.
- Maintain contacts with cultural and social organizations.
- Nurture the Haitian culture among the Haitian Americans in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.

- Provide advice on cultural immersion tours to Haiti.
- Organize, give out information and participate in the cultural events in our jurisdiction.
- Identify the institutions that can help or facilitate the integration of new Haitian immigrants with services such as school, churches and hospitals.
- Maintain a special contact with the Haitian press, Haitian artists, teachers, students and organizations dedicated to providing services to the Haitian community.
- Provide information to experts and researchers on Haitian art, history, cooking and artcraft, religion and language.
- Mobilize the resources of the Haitian community and the Friends of Haiti to come to the aid of victims of disasters such as floods and hurricanes.
- Serve as a liaison between regional associations and the Haitian government.
